Program Description
D2D Hockey believes in the fundementals of skating and the importance of consistency while learning basic skating skills. A skater's ability to navigate the ice surface with confidence stems from their ability to skate with control. The Power Skating Program is geared towards young talent learning to devleope their stops and starts, edge work, foot speed/power, transitions/pivoting and, most importantly, their balance and control. D2D's Power Skating sessions will work predominantly without the puck through large ice skating patterns, creative in-zone drills and, of course, group games to encourage fun and a love of the sport!
